Superb Gaming Monitors Boast the High Refresh Rates, Fast Response Times and Low Latency,
Meeting Demands of Today’s Gamers and VESA’s New Display Standard

Image of two UltraGear monitors with VESA AdaptiveSync logo

SEOUL, May 23, 2022 — LG Electronics’ (LG) UltraGear™ gaming monitors (models 27GP950 and 27GP850) are the first in the world to earn VESA® AdaptiveSync Display certification, launched by the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA). The new VESA® AdaptiveSync Display logo helps consumers to easily identify and compare the variable refresh rate (VRR) performance of gaming displays supporting VESA’s Adaptive-Sync protocol before they buy.

To be certified as the VESA AdaptiveSync Display, LG’s elite gaming monitors had to meet the exhaustive and rigorous requirements of the VESA Adaptive-Sync Display Compliance Test Specification (Adaptive-Sync Display CTS), which uses more than 50 test criteria to establish clear benchmarks for assessing monitors’ and laptops’ VRR capabilities. With high refresh rates, fast Gray-to-Gray (GTG) response times and low latency, the two UltraGear gaming monitors met or exceeded the test scores specified in VESA’s new open standard.

LG’s AdaptiveSync Display-certified monitors, LG UltraGear 27GP950 and 27GP850, provide the level of visual performance needed for seamless gaming experiences. Both models met required scores across VESA’s Adaptive-Sync Display CTS, including in several key measurements such as refresh rate, screen-flicker and response time. The two 27-inch gaming monitors feature advanced LG Nano IPS panels offering high refresh rates and a 1 millisecond GTG response time, allowing fluid gaming play and sharp, clean images for both PC and console games.

“The VESA Adaptive-Sync Display CTS creates a clear, consistent standard for display performance of gaming monitors and helps consumers to make informed purchasing decisions,” said Jim Choate, compliance program manager at VESA. “World’s first products to wear the new AdaptiveSync Display logo, LG’s UltraGear gaming monitors performed remarkably well in all applicable tests.”

“We are proud the LG UltraGear became the first-ever monitors to receive VESA AdaptiveSync Display certification” said Seo Young-jae, senior vice president and head of the IT business unit of LG Electronics Business Solutions Company. “With upcoming 2022 models including UltraGear 27GP95R, we will not only meet the high standards of VESA’s performance tests, but also satisfy the expectations and diverse needs of today’s consumers.”

SEOUL, May 20, 2022 — LG Electronics (LG) is expanding its premium CineBeam 4K laser projector lineup with the remarkable, new Ultra Short Throw (UST) laser projector (model HU915QE), the follow up to the HU715Q released earlier this year. Designed with serious movie lovers in mind, LG’s latest flagship home cinema solution can produce a stunningly sharp 90-inch image when placed just 5.6 centimeters from the wall or a massive 120-inch picture at a distance of only 18.3 centimeters.1

Thanks to the HU915QE’s combination of advanced projection technology, users no longer need a large, dedicated space to enjoy sublime cinematic experiences at home. Boasting 3,700 ANSI lumens and an impressive 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, LG’s latest projector delivers vibrant, realistic pictures that ensure maximum viewing immersion. By adopting LG’s evolved, three-channel laser technology, which employs a separate light source for each primary (RGB) color, this new model is able to offer more vivid images even during the day compared to other conventional products with the single light source technology.2

An excellent all-rounder, the HU915QE really excels when playing movies and streaming content in 4K HDR, using HDR Dynamic Tone Mapping to analyze and adjust image brightness every single frame. LG’s Brightness Optimizer II further elevates the new CineBeam projector’s performance, automatically adjusting brightness levels according to ambient light conditions so that users can enjoy clear, vivid picture quality whether the room is well lit or as dark as a movie theater. Additionally, Adaptive Contrast adjusts the projector’s light sources to provide a superb contrast for each individual scene.

With LG’s intuitive webOS smart platform onboard, the HU915QE lets users watch all their favorite shows from streaming services3 such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, YouTube and Apple TV without an additional device. They can also wirelessly stream content via Screen Mirroring, Apple AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth.4 On top of that, its built-in 2.2 Channel, 40W speaker system enhances the viewing experience with strong, rich audio. For more powerful, theater-like surround sound, users can effortlessly connect up to two LG Bluetooth speakers at once.5

The new CineBeam projector also makes a stylish addition to any room with its eco-friendly ‘Re-wool’ designed by renowned Danish textile company, Kvadrat. Made from 45 percent recycled wool, this material has become a favorite of design- and sustainability-conscious companies worldwide, used in products as diverse as furniture and premium audio solutions. Thanks to its muted, natural color and clean design, the HU915QE blends in well with luxurious home interiors.

“Featuring LG’s latest projection technologies, the new CineBeam projector delivers outstanding 4K picture quality from a short distance,” said Seo Young-jae, senior vice president and head of the IT business unit of LG Electronics Business Solutions Company. “An excellent choice for movie lovers seeking authentically cinematic experiences at home, the HU915QE combines superb performance with convenient features, easy installation and a sophisticated, space-friendly design.”

Artistic Innovation on Display: Kevin McCoy Finds Perfect Digital Canvas in LG OLED

Innovation leads to new creations, new experiences and, sometimes, new ways of looking at the world. Encompassing all of these outcomes is the generative art of envelope-pushing artist and NFT pioneer, Kevin McCoy, who is presenting new works at the Frieze New York 2022 art fair in Manhattan from May 18-22. His ever-evolving works, which autonomously grow and change through the use of algorithms and other advanced tech, have found the perfect digital canvas in the form of the latest OLED TVs from the lifestyle innovator, LG.

McCoy’s thought-provoking and visually-stunning new pieces are on show at the ‘LG OLED Lounge,’ located on level eight of Frieze New York’s official venue, The Shed. A selection of his groundbreaking works are displayed on state-of-the-art LG OLED TVs, including new LG OLED evo models, which use millions of self-lit pixels to deliver the deepest blacks, incredibly natural colors and an infinite contrast ratio.

Kevin McCoy's artwork displayed on LG OLED TV

The centerpiece of the exhibit, Quantum Leap: Primordial Star 3 (2022), is an NFT, or non-fungible token, co-created by McCoy and his wife, Jennifer. Inspired by Kevin McCoy’s 2014 work Quantum – which was the first artwork ever to be tokenized on a blockchain – Quantum Leap: Primordial Star 3 employs code-based, interacting systems that produce mandalas that change form and color as they ‘age,’ echoing the lifespan of stars.

Displayed alongside Primordial Star 3 in the LG OLED Lounge are Quantum Leap 3: Dark Star (2022) and Quantum Entanglement (2022), both also created by the celebrated husband-and-wife duo. The ‘star’ in Dark Star slowly loses its color over the course of its life before being reborn with a new central shape and vivid palette, generated autonomously via programming. Quantum Entanglement is a hybrid of drawings and NFTs that explores the nature of drawing, which is at once a performative act and a physical document that recalls or points to the existence of that act. Featuring physical drawings and digital animations made using software and a robotic drawing machine, Quantum Entanglement fuses physical with virtual elements in a way that is sure to delight and intrigue audiences.

The shifting colors and forms of McCoy’s new works at Frieze New York are expressed with precision and vibrancy thanks to the next-generation display and processing technologies of LG OLED evo. LG’s new OLED evo Gallery Edition TVs offer higher brightness, clarity and detail for lifelike images that almost jump off the screen – with the 77- and 65-inch models used at the exhibit proving themselves as adept at showcasing digital art as they are at delivering outstanding viewing experiences.

Kevin McCoy's artwork is displayed on LG OLED TV

Complementing LG OLED evo TV models, the LG OLED Lounge at Frieze New York also features the 55-inch Transparent OLED signage displays. Boasting vivid colors and high transparency, the advanced screen presents digital artists like McCoy with exciting, new creative opportunities to explore. What’s more, McCoy’s artwork is demonstrated on a LG OLED Objet Collection, an artistically inspired and distinctive lifestyle TV model.

LG was named Global Partner of the Frieze art fair, and this exhibit in New York exemplifies LG’s commitment to innovation within the arts and supporting artists to push their creative boundaries.

Building an Inclusive World with Tech

A long-standing commitment to bettering people’s lives – regardless of their age, understanding of technology or any physical challenges they may face – serves as the foundation for LG’s consumer innovations. LG continues to work hard to maximize the usability of its advanced home appliances, consulting with diverse users and leveraging its tech and design knowhow to ensure that all of its solutions are as accessible as possible.

A person holding a paper chain family

Global Accessibility Awareness Day, which is held every year on the third Thursday of May, is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the importance of ‘inclusive technology’ and the positive difference it can make in the lives of people with disabilities and impairments. As May 19 approaches, let’s take a look at some of the innovative ways that LG is fostering greater accessibility and allowing all consumers, no matter their circumstances, to experience the full convenience and value of its cutting-edge products.

Home Entertainment for Everyone

LG’s Magic Remote with icons representing its user-friendly functions for quick and intuitive access to LG webOS 6.0, while an LG TV plays in the background.

LG believes that everyone should be able to enjoy first-class home entertainment and has developed assistive technologies to lower any barriers that may get in the way. The company’s diverse lineup of TVs now carries a variety of accessibility features, including audio guides for those with visual impairments and closed-captioning for those with hearing impairments, as well as simplified control (including voice command support) via the Magic Remote to make the whole experience easier – from adjusting the volume to accessing content services.

Removing Barriers from Household Chores

While some LG solutions offer customized assistance for users with certain disadvantages, others offer elevated convenience that can benefit everyone. One such product is the LG SideKick™ Pedestal Washer, a mini-washing machine designed to sit discretely below an LG front-load washer. The SideKick is ideal for small loads that need frequent washing, such as workout gear, and makes it possible to clean two loads of laundry at once. And because it raises the height of the main washer, it makes the task of loading and unloading laundry from the front-loader less taxing for most users.

Diverse Voices Guiding Way to ‘Barrier-Free’ Solutions

A woman using an LG washing machine to do her laundry as her baby plays inside the clothes basket.

To develop home appliances that are accessible to the widest range of users, LG proactively seeks input from its customers and consults with experts in the field of disability inclusion. Since 2013, LGE US has been operating the LG Accessibility Advisory Board, which is made up of accessibility specialists, disability organizations and law firms. Through annual meetings and in-depth discussions, the council is helping LG to create barrier-free solutions that will enable more people to take advantage of all that its latest tech has to offer.

A group of people putting their hands together showing unity

At the same time, in South Korea, LG last year established an accessibility council consisting of accessibility experts and advisory group of disabled people. LG and the council’s experts are working together to formulate a measurement standard that will evaluate the accessibility of the company’s home appliances. The accessibility indicator will initially be used to assess the accessibility of LG TVs, washers, air conditioners and air purifiers, with other product categories to follow soon afterward. The advisory group of disabled people will actively join the creation of the measurement standard by directly experiencing and giving feedback on LG products under development.

With its comprehensive, considered approach to addressing the needs of all users, LG is helping to bring greater inclusivity to the consumer tech space, presenting thoughtful innovations that make daily life easier for everyone.

SEOUL, May 10, 2022 — LG Electronics (LG) is showcasing its ground-breaking information display technology at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2022, Barcelona, as anticipation grows after its two-year hiatus. At this year’s ISE, LG is promoting its Move Daily Life Forward theme which builds on the company’s Innovation for a Better Life slogan. Ranging from Transparent OLED Signage, Micro LED to full lineups of LED signage products, LG will be showcasing its latest business offerings which combine digital signage solutions with useful application tools to elevate post-pandemic communications and move us a step closer to life without limits.

With people spending more time at home, activities typically undertaken outside are now taking place in the comfort of home. Consumers are now going online to work (WFH), take classes, attend doctor appointments and carry out hobbies at home. In line with this trend, LG is showcasing LG MAGNIT and LG One:Quick Flex which leverage the company’s commercial display expertise to create next-gen home displays.

LG MAGNIT, which has already infiltrated several commercial areas since its 2020 debut, is now setting its sights on redefining the premium home cinema by providing a next-level viewing experience, aesthetically-pleasing design and gigantic 136-inch 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160) screen. The jaw-dropping picture quality created by its several million self-emissive LED pixels lets people enjoy their favorite movies, TV shows, sports events and artwork in privacy at home. And to make watching content easier and more enjoyable, several popular streaming apps are accessible via LG’s webOS 6.0 smart TV platform. Additionally, when paired with Bang & Olufsen’s flagship Beolab 90 home speaker, LG MAGNIT delivers an even more immersive home cinema experience.

The One:Quick Flex is another innovative solution transforming home entertainment. The all-in-one display combines a built-in microphone, camera and speakers with a 43-inch 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160) screen and optional movable stand. With its simple touch-based setup and user-friendly Windows OS, it is not only suitable for WFH, but for distance learning, video conferencing, remote training and entertainment as well. In addition, the larger 55-inch One:Quick Works, which combines built-in touch capabilities with intuitive video conferencing tools, is popular in educational and corporate environments, since its easy UX and added convenience let multiple users instantly connect and dive right into work or lesson plans.

On the other end of the spectrum, high-end executive offices are placing Transparent OLED on glass walls to create bright and futuristic imaging and useful meeting tools. Transparent OLED is also being utilized in the transportation sector as advertising or information displays on station windows. It has even made its way into museums, greeting visitors at the door and overlaying objects with context for a more extraordinary experience. Transparent OLED Touch has also gained popularity as interactive displays.

The Technology and Engineering Award-winning 65-inch UltraFine™ Display OLED Pro was built with studio professionals in mind. It supports pro-grade interfaces, such as SDI and SFP, and can render the source’s original, high-quality resolution without scaling down. What’s more, for colorists spending countless hours behind a screen, the UltraFine Display OLED Pro meets Eyesafe Standards and helps protect their eyes from blue light. LG UltraFine OLED Pro can be used in post-production companies as well as OTT companies when screening.

LG is also exhibiting several innovations centered around mission critical environments. Fine-pitch LED’s high definition and bezel-less design displays every fine detail clearly, while the bezel-less 54-inch LED Bloc allows customers to use it like a 55-inch LCD video wall display with easy installation – it even fits the brackets of existing LCD video wall models.* These features have made them useful in corporate control rooms, auditoriums and virtual classrooms.

In retail, LG’s Content Management Solution, SuperSign QSR, delivers customers a dynamic menu board while behind the scenes it streamlines the kitchen display system and integrates with the PoS system. Another featured product for outdoor customer interactions is the 21.5-inch high brightness touch display. Whether it’s at a drive-thru kiosk, gas pump or EV charger, this durable signage is useful as it stands up to harsh weather conditions and dust with a brightness that makes information easy to read.

Amidst all the cross-sector synergy, LG is also presenting cloud solutions specifically designed for specific industries or use cases. For example, Pro:Centric Cloud has been engineered to transform hospitality management by taking Pro:Centric, LG’s flexible and intuitive content management system for hospitality, and expanding it across multiple properties via cloud-based architecture. Now, hotels can offer personalized services, maintain consistent imaging and collect behavioral data across multiple branches, all centralized in one place.

“At this year’s ISE, we are excited to demonstrate the life-enhancing solutions that have been developed to change people’s lives for the better. Our sharp and seamless imagery stands out, especially in a crowded setting like this, and what’s more our vertical solutions are creating new possibilities,” said Paik Ki-mun, senior vice president and head of the Information Display business unit of LG Electronics Business Solutions Company. “We’re finding new ways to make it easier to make a positive impact, no matter the field.”

These revolutionary business solutions will be on display in Hall 3 of Fira Barcelona’s Gran Via from May 10-13. For those unable to attend, LG has a dedicated ISE page at www.lg-informationdisplay.com/ise2022 which includes videos of the zones and content to be added live during the event.

The premium brand and its world-famous ambassador recently teamed up for a memorable night complete with a special guest list and the unveiling of a special, limited-edition wine from Legend’s own LVE label.

The invite-only occasion, themed Timeless Moments with Loved Ones, took place on May 3 at Wappo Hill, the sprawling and elegantly-appointed private residence of Jean-Charles Boisset, the celebrated vintner and co-founder of LVE.

Among the evening’s special guests were international style authority, Olivia Palermo, and noted wine critic James Suckling, both of whom also serve as LG SIGNATURE global brand ambassadors. Other VIP attendees included LG SIGNATURE premium customers, retail partners and local and international wine reviewers.

To set the scene, Legend and Boisset were joined by an LG SIGNATURE representative to share the story of the exclusive wine – from the original idea for their collaboration to an inviting description of the full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon’s rich, complex flavors. Guests were then treated to a private concert from Legend himself, with the GRAMMY Award-winning artist performing fan-favorites including “All of Me,” and giving a soulful rendition of “You Deserve It All,” the song he penned for LG SIGNATURE in 2021.

Legend then turned the proceedings over to James Suckling, who hosted a special session on wine preservation, offering practical tips and outlining the impressive features and benefits of the LG SIGNATURE Wine Cellar. And, to finish things off with a flourish, Boisset’s head chef Rafael Molina served up a gourmet three-course meal, which was artfully paired with LVE’s delectable wines.

LG Electronics Honored by U.S. EPA as 2022 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year

Recognized for ‘Sustained Excellence’ in Environmental Sustainability,
LG Also Wins EPA’s Emerging Technology Award
The logo of the Energy Star Award 2022 given to Partner of the Year in its ‘Sustained Excellence’ category.

SEOUL, May 5, 2022 – LG Electronics (LG) has been named 2022 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year-Sustained Excellence by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This prestigious honor, a distinction LG has received nine times since 2012, recognizes the company’s exemplary commitment to protecting the environment through leadership in ENERGY STAR certified products and promotions.

In addition to the Partner of the Year Award, LG received the ENERGY STAR Emerging Technology Award last month with the EPA honoring 43 LG refrigerator-freezer models, more than any other brand. The award-winning models feature advanced adaptive compressors and use R-600a, a refrigerant with very low global-warming potential (GWP).

Refrigerators that earn this environmental distinction outperform the federal minimum standard by at least 25 percent when the compressor is in adaptive mode compared to when the compressor is in a fixed-speed mode. Recognized products also contain low GWP (below 15) refrigerant and foam. Inverter Linear Compressor™* found in LG’s refrigerator lineups efficiently keep food fresh longer and noise levels lower compared to LG’s conventional models.

Each year, the ENERGY STAR program honors a group of businesses and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to protecting the environment through superior energy achievements. ENERGY STAR award winners lead their industries in the production, sale and adoption of energy-efficient products, homes, buildings, services and strategies. These efforts are essential to fighting the climate crisis and protecting public health.

Under its Zero Negative Environmental Impact initiative, LG plans to establish more production sites that make a positive impact on the environment. To ensure that the company reaches its stretch goals for carbon neutrality and circular economy, LG announced its intention to reduce the use of petrochemical-based plastics by introducing up to 600,000 tons of recycled plastic into its manufacturing process by 2030 and nearly double the recovery of electronic waste to 8 million tons by then.

LG is demonstrating what it takes to build a more sustainable future, according to EPA Administrator Michael S. Regan. “They are showing once again that taking action in support of a clean energy economy can be good not only for the environment, but also for business and customers. We know it’s going to take all of us working together to tackle the climate crisis,” he said.

Eco-conscious Home Entertainment: LG’s Latest OLED TVs and Soundbars Showcase Commitment to A Better Life for All

With the health of the environment arguably one of the most pressing concerns in the world today, it is a good time to take stock, reflect and give serious thought to how we can all do our part to create a more sustainable future. In the consumer electronics industry, LG continues to show its commitment to protecting the planet and delivering a better life for all by reducing the environmental impact of its innovations at every stage of the product lifecycle.

The latest home entertainment solutions from LG serve as fine examples of the company’s efforts to provide maximum user convenience at minimal cost to the Earth. Emblematic of this goal, LG OLED TVs deliver stunning viewing experiences while using a smaller number of components and offering greater recyclability than their LCD counterparts. LG’s self-emissive displays don’t require a backlight like LCD TVs, and because they have fewer parts overall, there is less to recycle and dispose of. For example, the 65-inch LG OLED evo C2 model uses just 40 percent of the plastic of its LCD TV equivalent (model 65UQ80).

The eco-conscious qualities of LG’s 2022 OLED TVs have been recognized by one of the world’s foremost providers of testing, inspection and certification services, attaining Société Générale de Surveillance SA (SGS) Eco-Product recognition.1 The select 2022 LG OLED evo TVs will display the Carbon Trust’s product carbon footprint label for reducing CO2 throughout the entire product lifecycle.2 Moreover, they also achieved validation to the UL 2809 Environmental Claim Validation Procedure (ECVP) for Recycled Content Standard from global safety science leader, UL, which confirms these products are indeed as environmentally responsible as advertised.3

For its 2022 OLED TVs4, LG has adopted the use of a new composite fiber material that helps reduce product weight. Additionally, the packaging used for the latest LG OLED TVs is made for recyclable materials and features single-color printing to further save on energy and resources.

The LG Soundbar lineup also reveals the company’s dedication to environmentally-conscious design. Its sophisticated audio solutions utilize reused and easily recyclable materials, consume only a small amount of power when in use and ship in sustainable packaging. And to top it off, every 2022 LG Soundbar model has received SGS Eco-Product certification in recognition of their environmental impact.

Furthermore, this year’s soundbars are comprised of parts that have been fabricated from recycled plastic resin. The amount of recycled material used in LG’s new soundbars has been confirmed by UL’s ECVP for Recycled Content Standard and many of LG’s 2022 soundbars also feature a polyester jersey fabric that meets the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).5 What’s more, 2022 LG Soundbars are ENERGY STAR® certified thanks to their efficient use of power.

LG uses recycled pulp instead of EPS foam for its soundbar packaging which is far friendlier to the environment

By considering the impact our actions have on the environment, and finding better, more sustainable ways to get things done, we can all help to bring about positive change. As a leader in home entertainment innovation, LG will continue to do its part to protect the planet and pave the way to a brighter tomorrow.

Color and Joy: LG OLED evo TVs and the Artistry of Yinka Ilori Create Visual Magic at The Conran Shop

This London Craft Week, visitors to The Conran Shop’s Chelsea and Marylebone locations will be greeted by a feast for the eyes, or perhaps, more accurately, a ‘Forest of Eyes.’ Delivering vivid colors and infinite contrast via millions of self-lit pixels, LG OLED evo TVs will play an important role in stunning, new art installations created by London-based multidisciplinary artist, Yinka Ilori, for leading lifestyle retailer, the Conran Shop.*

Yinka Ilori’s distinctive work will shine out from the stores’ large display windows, communicating hope and optimism through the artist’s bold, joyful palette and signature use of pattern. Introducing his ‘Forest of Eyes’ theme, the installations will comprise a series of eye-shaped boxes, made from timber and alive with color, resembling blossoming rainbow-hued flowers.

Within each box will be a series of smaller eye-shaped forms, a mirrored floor, and an LG OLED evo TV that blurs the line between real and digital with its immaculate picture quality. The vibrant, accurate colors and deep, inky blacks of LG’s self-lit TVs will accurately reproduce Ilori’s colorific creations on screen, preserving his artistic intentions while seamlessly blending with the installations’ physical elements to help capture the attention – and imagination – of passersby.

Empowering Thousands in Kenya to Live Better

In its mission to make the world a better place to live for everyone, LG Electronics will forever champion the importance of social contribution and doing more as a company to help those that can’t help themselves.

LG East Africa has been actively carrying out diverse social initiatives to help improve education, environment and health standards in the region over the last few years and has already made a lasting impact on thousands of locals. This year, LG East Africa partnered again with Habitat for Humanity (HFH) Kenya for its second CSR project to support more than 25,000 Kenyans in Laikipia County.

Early this January, LG in partnership with HFH Kenya launched several social initiatives valued at around USD 90,000 (KES 10.3 million) to benefit more than 3,000 primary and secondary school students and the 22,000 residents receiving supplies from the Olmoran and Maundu Meri Dispensaries every year. At least two dispensaries and seven schools within Mbombo and Rumuruti will see positive changes from these initiatives.

Many children and teachers at these schools have limited access to clean, safe water and must make regular trips to far-away dams. To make matters worse, school infrastructure is severely lacking with classrooms, which are mostly made from mud and old iron roof sheets, lacking doors, windows and proper sanitation.

To make life better for the children, LG aims to directly resolve the challenges facing these vibrant communities. The company is building new classrooms and toilet facilities and furnishing them with proper school desks, tables and equipment, with construction expected to be completed by June. Over 20 LG products including refrigerators, washers, water purifiers, air conditioners, TVs and microwaves have been donated so far.

This initiative is a continuation of LG Electronics’ continued partnership with HFH, first partnering with the Korean branch in 2020 to launch the LG Come Home Challenge, inviting fans to create short videos on how much they love their home. In return, LG made generous donations and gifted appliances to newly built homes in Kenya, Vietnam and India.

Laikipia becomes the second Kenyan county to benefit from LG’s work with HFH, following the company’s first successful initiative in 2021 which improved learning facilities at several schools including the Machakos School for the Deaf.

Stay tuned to hear what else LG has planned to help support local communities around the world in need of a helping hand!
